StratoZone is now part of Google Cloud
Since 2014, we’ve helped thousands of companies understand their datacenter footprint, plan out their migration,
and make the jump to the cloud. We are excited to announce that we are now part of Google
Cloud to further simplify customer onboarding and migration. We are looking forward to being a part of Google Cloud’s
strategy to simplify cloud migrations, providing tools for a holistic, end-to-end migration program.
Businesses around the world have been impacted by the global pandemic, making their desire to innovate and modernize more
urgent. Joining Google Cloud will enable us to more broadly support enterprises who are looking to accelerate their cloud
migrations--helping them to avoid hitting performance thresholds due to lack of capacity or because procuring hardware takes
too long; to get ahead of expensive hardware refresh cycles or contract renewals; to alleviate licensing and support issues;
to address compliance and security concerns; or to comply with acquisition terms.
IT professionals know they can’t just blindly adopt new technologies. As part of Google Cloud, we will continue to help
customers discover, assess, and understand complex dependencies across workloads moving to the cloud, offering a unified,
end-to-end platform to accelerate cloud adoption within a single SaaS solution.
StratoZone and Google Cloud will offer customers important cloud migration benefits:
-
Fast: Assess your workloads quickly, with a solution that takes very little time to install and
run (typically under 45 minutes), and can scale to discover and assess thousands of assets in hours. Initial
results are typically available in days.
-
Easy to use: Discover workloads and assets using an agentless process. No appliances, hardware, or agents
to deploy. Discovery is hypervisor and physical/virtual agnostic.
-
Secure: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Customers control data anonymization.
-
Understanding: We provide recommendations for optimal migration and modernization targets based on existing
assets (including estimating TCO), proposing an optimal mix of cloud services as well as migration phases that minimize
application disruption.
We’re excited to bring our team and technology to Google Cloud and are looking forward to joining their broad portfolio of
migration tools to support enterprises in their cloud journeys.
